  2. ,dMail*Link Internet for PowerTalk is a personal e-mail gateway between PowerTalk and the Internet or 
  3. *2_other SMTP-based mail systems. It requires a TCP/IP connection to a host that runs Simple Mail 
  4. *2aTransfer Protocol (SMTP) and Post Office Protocol Version 3 (POP3). The TCP/IP connection can be 
  5. *2eon a local network or across a dial-up IP connection using a Serial Line Internet Protocol (SLIP) or 
  6. *2FPoint-to-Point Protocol (PPP) program, such as InterSLIP
  7.  or MacPPP.
  8. *daMail*Link Internet for PowerTalk uses SMTP to send your outbound mail to the host, which in turn 
  9. *2duses SMTP or other protocols to send the mail on to its destination. Incoming Internet mail is down-
  10. *2`loaded from your e-mail account on a POP3 server. SMTP and a POP3 server can run on the same or 
  11. different hosts.

  81. U Once you have installed a personal gateway such as Mail*Link Internet for PowerTalk 
  82. `in the PowerTalk Key Chain, if you subsequently remove the gateway from the Key Chain, any mail 
  83. *2`in your In Tray that has been downloaded by the gateway will be deleted. We strongly advise you 
  84. *2`to copy the contents of your In Tray to a folder before removing any personal gateways from the 
  85. PowerTalk Key Chain.

  137. *2eaccess your POP3 account, the name of the Internet mail server, your full Internet address, and your
